Mr. Sarrao serves as the Vice-President & General Counsel for Prime Healthcare Services and its subsidiaries and affiliates.  As Prime Healthcare Services’ Chief Legal Officer, Mr. Sarrao is responsible for all legal matters affecting the organization and has served as lead counsel for Prime Healthcare Services’ acquisition of eleven hospitals in the past five years as well as financing transactions associated with each acquisition.   Mr. Sarrao also plays an active role in various litigation matters affecting the organization as was recently profiled by the Los Angeles Daily Journal in connection with the organization’s ongoing litigation with various health plans and insurance companies over proper reimbursement.   Mr. Sarrao also serves on the Board of Directors of Desert Valley Insurance, Ltd., a captive insurance company, and as the Secretary and Treasurer of the Prime Healthcare Services Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity.

Mr. Sarrao holds a Bachelor of Arts in Quantitative Economics and Decision Sciences from the University of California, San Diego and is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law where he served as the Research Editor for the San Diego Law Review and was a member of the Order of the Coif.   Mr. Sarrao has been a member of the California Bar since 1996.
