Victorville, CA – Desert Valley Hospital (DVH) has been recognized as one of the Nation’s 100 Top Hospitals® for the third time by Solucient® and Modern Healthcare Magazine for the year 2006. The hospital was previously awarded the 100 Top Hospital® recognition in years 2003 and 2005. Solucient®, part of Thomson Healthcare, is a not-for-profit national organization that evaluates hospitals’ performance and ranks them according to their performance, National Benchmarks for Success.
Desert Valley Hospital is chosen for this recognition amongst the small community hospitals in the Nation. Of the 20 hospitals chosen across the country, Desert Valley Hospital is the only other hospital in the State of California to receive the recognition. “I am proud that Desert Valley Hospital has been chosen for this prestigious recognition for a third time.
