Corporate Chief Medical Officer
Paryus Patel, MD, is the Chief Medical Officer of Prime Healthcare’s
Region III-VI hospitals and Corporate Chief Medical Officer for Prime
Healthcare. Region III-VI includes Prime Healthcare's 20 acute care,
community hospitals located in Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Kansas, Missouri,
Michigan, Florida, Indiana, Ohio, and Rhode Island.
Dr. Patel is a triple board certified physician with more than 25 years
of experience in the fields of critical care medicine, internal medicine
and pulmonology. He received his medical degree from MS University, Baroda
Medical College in Gujarat, India. He then continued his training at Los
Angeles County/USC Medical Center where he was named Chief Resident of
Internal Medicine and then honed his skills as a Fellow in Pulmonary and
Critical Care Medicine and Transplant Medicine.
In additional to serving as Chief Medical Officer for Prime Healthcare,
Dr. Patel is currently Chief Medical Officer for Centinela Hospital Medical
Center, an award winning “100 Top Hospital” located in Inglewood,
California. He holds the following leadership positions at the facility:

- Chairman, Institutional Review Board
- Member, Medical Executive Committee
- Chairman, Clinical Quality and Performance
Dr. Patel has received numerous accolades and awards throughout his distinguished
career. He has been named a "Super Doctor" by Los Angeles Magazine,
has been recognized several times among the “100 CMOs to Know”
in Becker’s Hospital Review and "Top Doctor" award from
the Los Angeles Business Journal in 2020 and 2021.
