Prime Healthcare Services Acquires East Valley Hospital Medical Center, Located in Glendora, California
Hospital will be renamed Glendora Community Hospital
Ontario, Calif., May 23, 2014 – Prime Healthcare Services announced today that it has acquired East Valley Hospital Medical Center in Glendora, California. The hospital will revert back to its original name, Glendora Community Hospital.
The 128-bed acute care hospital is accredited by Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP). Services provided include comprehensive acute care medical, intensive care, surgical services and 24-hour basic emergency services. It also houses a 21-bed behavioral health unit.

Glendora Community Hospital will undergo substantial infrastructure improvements immediately, including new radiology and laboratory equipment and expansion of the emergency department, with investments estimated to exceed $5 million.
