Prime Healthcare Hospitals Named to U.S. News & World Report 2017-2018 High Performing Hospital List

Prime Healthcare’s award-winning hospitals have been recognized by
U.S. News & World Report, earning spots on its national high performing hospital list. The annual
High Performing Hospital award recognizes institutions that excel in treating
patients with highly-complex medical needs.

Out of nearly 5,000 hospitals nationwide,
Centinela Hospital Medical Center in Inglewood, CA;
Desert Valley Hospital in Victorville, CA;
Sherman Oaks Hospital in Sherman Oaks, CA;
Huntington Beach Hospital in Huntington Beach, CA;
Paradise Valley Hospital in National City, CA;
St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO;

Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, TX were scored by U.S. News & World Report in the top
25 percent among their peers in at least one of 16 medical specialties.
For 2017-2018, Prime Healthcare hospitals achieved recognition in five
specialties including heart failure; chronic obstructive pulmonary disease-COPD;
geriatrics; diabetes; and endocrinology.
