Partnership Will Accelerate Transformation to a Clinically-Integrated Supply Chain

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.)--November 14, 2017-- HealthTrust^SM, a healthcare performance improvement company, and Prime Healthcare, one of the nation’s leading integrated health systems based in Ontario, California, today announced the signing of an agreement designating HealthTrust as Prime’s exclusive group purchasing organization (GPO). Effective March 1, 2018, the agreement encompasses Prime Healthcare’s 45 hospitals and affiliated facilities in 14 states.

Prime Healthcare anticipates significant savings from HealthTrust’s committed GPO portfolio, operational insights and experience in support of its progressive agenda to transform supply chain operations. The companies will share best practices that steward a close working relationship with physicians and other caregivers, aimed at ensuring high-quality products, reducing operating costs and enhancing patient outcomes.
