Thank you, Bianca!

Bianca, a 13-year old student at a nearby middle school, recently paid a visit to Vinnette, the Patient Experience Coordinator at St. Mary’s General Hospital. Bianca presented Vinnette with 42 handmade postcards. Every postcard was unique and contained a positive and encouraing message.

Bianca explained that she made these cards, “for children or any sad patients.” Bianca also wanted to thank the doctors and nurses “for working during these hard times.”

Bianca’s beautiful cards were given to patients, many of them COVID-19 patients.

Thank you, Bianca, for bringing moments of joy to St. Mary’s General Hospital patients when they needed it the most.

Vinnette and Bianca also talked about volunteer opportunities at the hospital. Bianca is not yet old enough to volunteer at the hospital. She said she’ll apply as soon as she can.
