Prime Healthcare Leader Dr. Kavitha Bhatia Named Health Care Executive of the Year by the Los Angeles Business Journal
ONTARIO, Calif., September 05, 2025 – Kavitha Bhatia, MD, MMM, FAAP, FACHE, President of the Prime Healthcare Foundation and Chief Medical Officer of Strategy for Prime Healthcare, has been named the 2025 Health Care Executive of the Year by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
The award was presented at the 2025 Health Care Leadership Awards, where Dr. Bhatia also served as a panelist alongside healthcare leaders from LA Care, Health Net, UCLA Health, the Hospital Association of Southern California, and the Los Angeles County Medical Association. The event brought together leaders from across the region, with additional awards presented to organizations including UCLA Health, Keck Medicine of USC, and City of Hope.
Dr. Bhatia’s recognition highlights Prime Healthcare’s leadership in advancing health equity, strengthening community hospitals, and championing education and philanthropy to improve access to care. As a panelist, Dr. Bhatia contributed to discussions on the most pressing issues in healthcare, reinforcing Prime’s role in shaping policy and practice with peers across the industry.
