Advocacy, Community Partnerships and Giving Back
Over the years, Prime Healthcare and the Prime Healthcare Foundation have furthered their mission of saving hospitals to save lives and serve communities through advocacy, community partnerships and charitable contributions at the local, state, and national level.
Since 2010, Prime Healthcare has provided more than $13.7 billion in charitable contributions to organizations locally, nationally and globally. Throughout the pandemic, Prime rose to the challenge of caring for the hardest hit communities, saving a hospital from closure and providing hundreds of thousands of COVID tests and vaccines to residents across the country, many in underserved areas.
Prime Healthcare leadership have supported legislation that benefits patients, healthcare workers and providers, including preservation and expansion of the Affordable Care Act; Medicaid expansion at the state level; improving healthcare outcomes; promoting health equity and access to quality, affordable healthcare for our most disadvantaged communities, both rural and urban; and much more.
